This year we’re opening up our Ring Animal judging to any Year 0-8 student in the Wellington Region – bring your lamb or calf along to be judged, and…
No ordinary school gala, Pāuatahanui Lamb & Calf Day is a fun filled day for the whole family, at our rural school on the edge of the beautiful Pāuatahanui Inlet.
Come along for the farm animals, browse the local stalls, ride a pony, drive a digger, and stay for the delicious food, live music, raffles, auctions, games and more!
You’ll find us at Pāuatahanui School, on the edge of the stunning Pāuatahanui Inlet just out of Porirua, and a stones throw from the new Transmission Gully (SH1) Pāuatahanui Interchange.
Parking is limited in and around Pāuatahanui Village on Lamb & Calf Day. For everyone’s safety, please do not park on the side of SH58, Grays Road or Pāekakariki Hill Road – there will be road cones blocking these areas. Please respect time limits on the village parking also.
Please leave your dogs at home – we are a dog free event, for the safety of our farm animals (registered service dogs are welcome).
Take the stress out of hunting for a car park, and take out free shuttle bus! Shuttle Bus runs from 9AM to 2:30PM along the routes noted below. Park at Adventure Park in Whitby, or Motukaraka Point on Greys Road, and drops off in the village directly outside Lamb & Calf Day, how easy is that!
