Ring Animal Entries

Enter your animals into our ring judging for 2023!

We’re happy to be accepting entries from any primary aged student within the local area for our Ring Animal showing for 2023!

You must be currently enrolled at a Wellington Region school, and be in Years 0-8 to enter. We judge animals in combined year groups, with three placings available in each group. The first place winner from each group will be eligible to enter the ‘Best In Show’ competition (judged directly after the Year Groups are completed, so don’t disappear if you get a placing!).

This year we also have a fun optional ‘Dress Up’ event, where kids and animals compete for best dressed (you can enter both your age group AND the Dress Up category!).

There is no cost to enter – but please note you may be placed on a waitlist if demand is super high.

Students must be able to lead their animal around a small course, show they can control their animals, and answer questions about caring for their animals.

Once you’re signed up, we’ll send you an email with the full rules and course information.

Any questions, please drop us an email at: animals@lambandcalfday.co.nz.
